  Title: Chief Physician, Professor, Associate Chief Director of Cardiovascular Surgery Department.

  Medical Specialities:

  Excellent in all kinds of complex congenital heart diseases, valvular heart diseases, coronary artery disease, cardiac trauma, cardiac tumor excision, modified Maze procedure in surgical ablation of atrial fibrillation, aortic diseases. Especially good at minimally invasive cardiac surgery such atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, valve replacement or valvuloplasty, ultrasonic-guided transcatheter atrial and ventricular septal defect closure.

  Major Research Direction:

  Etiology and treatment of aortic diseases, treatment of end stage heart disease, mechanism of myocardial infarction, inhibition of vascular hyperplasia, research on cardiovascular graft.

  Clinical Medical Practice:

  Complete 700 surgical operations annually. Participate in the first cardiac heart transplantation, the first repair of coronary-ventricle fistula together with plasty of right coronary artery, first off-pump coronary artery bypass graft with bipolar modified Maze III ablation of atrial fibrillation, modified bipolar Maze IV for surgical ablation of atrial fibrillation. Especially good at minimally invasive cardiac surgery such atrial septal defect, ventricular septal defect, valve replacement or valvuloplasty, ultrasonic-guided transcatheter atrial and ventricular septal defect closure. Operate the surgery of complex neonatal congenital heart diseases, off-pump CABG. Many of his medical achievements have filled the blanks of Jilin Province, reaching an advanced level in China.

  Research and Teaching Contributions:

  In charge of one project of Developmental Plan of Jilin Province, participation in

  a National Natural Science Foundation project and three projects of the ‘Twelve • Five’ Technology Support Program, 3 projects of Jilin Province International Technology Development, ten provincial and municipal projects and other 5 projects. Have 2 national patents. Gain a first prize of Jilin Province Natural Science Academy

  and eight second prizes of Jilin University Medical Award and four third prizes of Jilin University Medical Award. Having published one book and more than forty articles], including some SCI collections. Undertake the theory and practice teaching of undergraduate and master.
